Mike King is a Vice President, Investments with SURMOUNT. Mike joined SURMOUNT in 2025 and is primarily focused on acquisitions, dispositions, and 1031 Exchange advisory. He specializes in multi-tenant retail assets, bringing an analytical and strategic approach to every transaction.

He has originated and underwritten over $1 billion in transactions involving retail, industrial, and office assets over the past decade, having completed approximately $250M in investment sale transactions. Mike represents a broad client base consisting of private investors, end-users, developers, and institutional investors. He prides himself on his ability to run a process tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

Prior to working with SURMOUNT, Mike worked at The Net Lease Group in Atlanta where he focused on the acquisition and disposition of freestanding retail and large box industrial assets. Mike graduated from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Agricultural and Consumer Economics and a concentration in Finance. Mike lives in New York, New York.
