Chukwuma Umejei is a Senior Construction Accountant with Surmount (formerly UGDC). Chukwuma Umejei joined UGDC in 2023 and is currently responsible for accounting processes for development projects.

Chukwuma is an experienced accountant with 8 years of specialized experience in construction and real estate industry. His experiences entail handling financial project related activities from contract management to processing vendor invoices and payments as well has handling general ledger activities for multiple entities.

Prior to working with Surmount, Chukwuma worked at WeWork where he was part of the fixed asset accounting team. His role included supporting the accounting processes for the development and construction team. He graduated from Kean University with a degree in accounting. Chukwuma currently resides in Manhattan, NY.
